Serbia January 2020: Seat Ibiza, Opel Corsa shine in market up 13.9%

The Seat Ibiza scores its first Serbian Top 10 finish in at least 6 years.

Based on data by our Central European data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Serbia surge 13.9% year-on-year in January to 1.831 units. The Skoda Fabia (+79%) overtakes its stablemate the Octavia (+39.2%) to take the first spot, with the Renault Clio edging up one spot on December to climb onto the podium. There are a few surprises below: the Seat Ibiza lodges its very first Top 10 finish since we started following Serbia monthly in December 2013, landing directly at #4, while the Toyota RAV4 does the same at #10. For its part the Opel Corsa scores its first Top 10 ranking since September 2018 and highest position since September 2017 at #5.
