Wholesales of new Light Commercial Vehicles limit their fall to -2% in 2019 to 3.279.763 units, with Medium and Heavy Commercials down -1% to 1.455.325. Among LCVs, Wuling (-3%) remains the dominant brand with just above 680.000 sales for the year and a 20.8% share, distancing Foton (+9%), Dongfeng (+9%) and Changan (-5%) like last year. Jinbei (+8%) and Great Wall (+8%) also shine with solid gains, JAC is stable but all other Top 10 manufacturers lose ground: JMC (-15%) and Ford (-10%) being the hardest hit. Model-wise, there is no endangering the domination of the Wuling Mini Truck (+5%) up to almost 420.000 sales and rallying back over H2 thanks to a new generation, notably wth wholesales up 26% in December to a fantastic 55.041 units, a new record for the nameplate smashing its previous best by almost 13.000 units and enabling the Mini Truck to become the 2nd most popular LCV ever, below the Wuling Sunshine (73.302 in January 2011).
