Croatia November 2019: VW T-Cross up to #2, BMW 3 Series signs first Top 20 in 6 years

The VW T-Cross is up to #2 in Croatia in November.

New car sales in Croatia skid down -2.1% year-on-year in November to 3.475 units, leading to a year-to-date volume up 2.2% to 58.916. Volkswagen grows 12% year-on-year to reach a mammoth 17.7% share vs. 13.7% so far in 2019, while Skoda (+46.8%) cements its 2nd place at 11.2% vs. 9.6%, distancing Renault (-2.7%), Hyundai (-8.3%), Suzuki (-39.5%) and Peugeot (-28.6%) all in difficulty. Mazda (+17.3%) and Kia (+11.2%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10 while further down, Porsche (+266.7%), Seat (+62.7%), Audi (+54.2%), Mini (+50%), Mercedes (+20.9%) and Mitsubishi (+12.5%) stand out. Model-wise, below the Skoda Octavia (+62.8%) faithful to the #1 spot it also holds YTD, the VW T-Cross is up 7 spots on October to land at a record 2nd place ahead of the VW Golf (-28.3%), Renault Clio (-37.5%) and VW Touran, the latter signing its 2nd Top 5 of the year after last February. The Hyundai Kona shoots up to #7 vs #19 YTD, the Renault Twingo is up to #11 and the BMW 3 Series scores its first Croatian Top 20 finish since January 2014 at #15.
