Morocco April 2019: Citroen (-16.8%), Peugeot (-29.1%) resist in market imploding -49.3%
Citroen sales are down “only” 16.8% in Morocco in April.
A rare intermediary update for Morocco shows passenger car sales freefalling down -49.3% in April to 10.764 while LCVs are up 36.8% and year-to-date overall volumes down -12.7% to 52.948. Dacia (-49.7%) and Renault (-52.8%) remain ultra-dominant, accounting for a combined 46.2% market share and distancing Peugeot (-29.1%) and Hyundai (-33.4%) sporting some of the best holds of the Top 10 where Citroen (-16.8%) resists best but Ford (-75.5%) and Nissan (-71.6%) fare the worst.
