Latvia March 2019: VW Golf lead, Corolla and Tiguan up

The new hatch lifts Toyota Corolla sales up 103%.

According to our partner JATO Dynamics, new car sales in Latvia soar 15.4% year-on-year in March to 1.618 units, lifting the Q1 volume up 6.6% to 4.461. The top best-sellers all post spectacular gains: the VW Golf (+42.2%), Toyota RAV4 (+49.2%), Corolla (+103%) and VW Tiguan (+88.6%) all soar up whereas the Nissan Qashqai (-32.9%) sink. The Skoda Octavia (+115%), Karoq (+78.9%) and Dacia Duster (+72.4%) also forge ahead this month.
