Thanks to Armands from the Automotive Association of Latvia I can share with you the most popular models and brands in Latvia in February 2013. The market is back in positive territory this month: up 4% year-on-year to 893 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 1,804 units, down 5% on 2012. Like in January, the Peugeot 3008 holds the pole position, but this month it is joined by its big brother the Peugeot 5008, with both models selling 48 units for an excellent 5.4% market share. Leader in 2012, the VW Golf rounds up the podium at 42 units and 4.7%.

  1. It’s great to have these datas… Thanks!

I like to see two Peugeots on the top. This is a funny market : Beside 3008s & 5008s, the only other Peugeot in the Top 51 is the Partner! The other models (107, 208, 301, 308, 508, RCZ, 4007 & 4008) had only 9 sales all together… Citroen and Renault sold mainly commercial vehicles, Opel sold mainly Astras, VW and Toyota sales are well-balanced. It would be interesting to see the ranking for private sales, and I guess the figures would be very low for everybody…
