The Slovenian new car market edges up 1.4% year-on-year in January to 6.563 units, and like in December Renault (+17.8%) snaps the brands lead away from Volkswagen (-5.3%) with Skoda (+20.2%) also posting a strong score to complete the podium. Among brands selling less than 100 units this month, Jaguar (+400%), Smart (+350%), Land Rover (+133.3%), Mitsubishi (+51.9%) and Volvo (+48.6%) are the most dynamic. Model-wise, the Renault Clio (+15.5%) remains on top, distancing the Skoda Octavia (+19.8%) and Dacia Sandero (+22.1%) in a high performing podium. Below the VW Golf (-35.4%) in difficulty, the VW T-Roc (+184.7%), Nissan Qashqai (+111.5%), Peugeot 2008 (+42.2%), Renault Captur (+41%), Renault Megane (+33.6%) and Skoda Fabia (+31.7%) all post fantastic results.
