Kazakhstan October 2017: Lada soars 120% to pole position

Thanks to our partnership with autoconsulting.kz, we can share with you today October data for Kazakhstan, a market up 26.2% year-on-year to 5.042 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 6.9% to 39.120 registrations. Lada spectacularly reclaims the brands pole position off Toyota for the first time since last February thanks to deliveries more than doubling on October 2016 at +120% to 21.5% share vs. 17.8% YTD. Toyota is down 7% to 15.5% vs. 19.6% so far this year while recently launched Ravon is up 458% on its early career a year ago to maintain itself on the Kazakh podium with a strong 10.8% share, followed closely by Hyundai at 10.1% (+106%). Notice also Nissan up 73%, Kamaz up 77%, Lifan up 30%, Subaru up 600% and Mitsubishi up 175%. Model-wise, the Lada 4×4 is back up 3-fold to a commanding 9.6% share, distancing the last month’s leader the Ravon Nexia R3 (+316%) and the GAZ Gazelle (-16%) while the YTD #1 the Toyota Camry is down 24% to #4. The Lada Largus is up 17-fold (!) to #5, ahead of the Ravon R4, Lada Granta (-29% and Hyundai Accent (+59%) while both the Lada Vesta and Hyundai Tucson post gigantic year-on-year gain to slip inside the Top 10.
