Greece November 2017: Peugeot up 41% in market up 10.6%

The Greek new car market is up 10.6% year-on-year in November to 6.523 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 11.6% to 82.687. Toyota is the best-selling brand as per the YTD order with 12.2% share (+5%) above Volkswagen at 7.2% (-10%) while Peugeot soars 41% to 6.4% in third place. Ford (4%) and Opel (-35%) round up the Top 5 ahead of Nissan up 38% to #6. Suzuki (+21%), Renault (+39%), Volvo (+47%), Skoda (+68%), Dacia (+152%), Hyundai (+198%) and Kia (+314%) all post spectacular gains inside the Top 20.
Over in the models ranking, the Toyota Yaris holds onto its pole position with a strong 8.2% share thanks to deliveries up 22%, followed by the Renault Clio at less than half the amount and 3.9% share (+26%) and the Peugeot 208 at 3.7% (+85%). The Fiat Panda (+29%), Hyundai i20 (+234%) and VW Golf (+57%) also shine in the Top 10 whereas the Opel Corsa deep dives down 48%. Further down, notice the Nissan Micra up 10-fold, the Suzuki Swift up 52%, the Dacia Duster up 175% and the Ford Kuga up 17-fold. Surprise: the Jeep Compass leads recent launches (<12 months) at #21 overall ahead of the Citroen C3 Aircross up 73 spots on October to #37, the Audi Q2 (#48), Opel Crossland X (#54) and Skoda Kodiaq (#59). This month we welcome the VW T-Roc at #82, the Skoda Karoq at #144 and the Hyundai Kona at #186.
