Luxembourg July 2017: Tiguan teases Golf, Mercedes GLC up to #5

The Mercedes GLC ranks 5th so far in 2017 in Luxembourg.

New car sales in Luxembourg are up 9.4% year-on-year in July to 4.529 units, lifting the year-to-dat total up 3.1% to 33.475. The VW Tiguan (+131%) is teasing the VW Golf (-3%) for the YTD pole position with only 37 units separating the two nameplates. The Renault Clio (+31%) rounds up the podium while five of the next eight best-sellers are premium models. The Audi A3 (-3%) ranks 4th, the Mercedes GLC is up 113% to #5, the BMW X1 up 11% to #6, the BMW 1 Series up 6% to #8 and the Mercedes C-Class down 29% to #10.
