Over 140.000 new light vehicles found a buyer in the Philippines during the first four months of 2017, an all-time record. The two best-sellers are unchanged: the Toyota Vios is estimated to cross the 15.000 sales mark and is followed by the Toyota Fortuner at 13.239, with Toyota holding each of the Top five spots with the Innova gaining two ranks vs. its FY16 5th place, the Hiace and the Wigo losing one each. The Mitsubishi Montero Sport shoots up 6 spots to become the best-selling non-Toyota in the country, followed by the Isuzu MU-X and Hyundai Accent. The Hilux and Avanza make it seven Toyotas in the Top 10. Among recent launches, the Honda BR-V is up to #17, the Suzuki Ertiga at #22 and the Suzuki Celerio at #31.
