Poland November 2016: Fiat Tipo, Renault Megane and Talisman shine

The Polish new car market soars 19.5% year-on-year in November to 42.159 registrations, lifting the year-to-date tally up 17% to 426.235 units. Skoda continues to outpace the market with sales up 28% to 12.4% share, distancing Volkswagen at 11% (+22%), Toyota at 8.7% (+18%) and Ford at 7.9% (+25%). Mercedes (+28%), Renault (+29%), Hyundai (+32%), Audi (+39%) and BMW (+46%) also shine inside the Top 15. Model-wise we are witnessing a consolidation around the most popular nameplates, with the entire Top 5 outpacing the market: the Skoda Octavia (+31%), Fabia (+28%), Opel Astra (+28%), VW Golf (+25%) and Ford Focus (+31%) all post very impressive gains. Notice also the Skoda Rapid up 31%, the Renault Megane up 214% to #10 thanks to the new generation, the Hyundai Tucson up 59%, Skoda Superb up 43%, the Fiat Tipo breaking into the monthly Top 20 for the first time (#19) and the YTD Top 50 (#50), the VW Tiguan (+63%), Toyota Corolla (+48%), Ford Fiesta (+95%), Skoda Citigo (+68%) and the Renault Talisman breaking into the Top 50 for the first time at #46.
