Finland March 2015: Nissan Qashqai and Micra shoot up

The Nissan Qashqai is the best-selling vehicle in Finland in March.

Finnish new car sales are up by a very dynamic 15% year-on-year in March to 10,956 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 29,084 units, down 4% on 2014. Thanks to 1,399 sales and 12.8% share this month, Toyota takes the lead of the year-to-date brands ranking with 3,174 units and 10.9% vs. 3,105 and 10.7% for Volkswagen, down to #4 and 9.2% in March. But the main event in Norway this month is the particularly strong performance of Nissan, shooting up to 2nd place overall with 1,347 deliveries and 12.3%, placing the Qashqai in pole position (694 sales) and the Micra at #5 (390 units) whereas it ranked #61 over the Full Year 2014. Notice also the Toyota Auris up 51% to #3, Toyota Yaris up 64% to #4, VW Passat up 71% to #6 and Honda Civic up 88% to #9.
