Slovakia November 2014: Skoda Yeti & VW Golf Sportsvan shine

The VW Golf Sportsvan misses out on a Top 10 ranking for just two sales.

As usual there is one month delay for Slovakian data, so now is time for November figures with a market down 2% year-on-year to 5,471 registrations (5,983 including LCVs), lifting the year-to-date total to 64,353 units, up 10% on 2013 – 71,311 sales including LCVs. It does look like the surprise leadership of the Suzuki SX4 in October was the nameplate’s swan song: it sells zero units in November! Skoda reclaims its monopoly of the sales charts’ podium with the Rapid leading the way this month above the Fabia and Octavia, displaying a reverse order to the year-to-date ranking. Below the VW Golf strong again at #4, the Skoda Yeti is up 9 spots on October to make it 4 Skodas in the Top 5, the Dacia Duster is up 11 ranks to #9, the VW Golf Sportsvan up 8 to stop just two units shorts off its first Top 10 ranking in the country at #11 and the VW Up up a stunning 116 spots to #12.
