Thanks to www.cartube.co.il I can share with you today November data for Israel. New car sales in the country are up a very robust 17% year-on-year to 19,574 registrations, lifting the year-to-date total to 229,294 units, up 14% on 2013. The brand podium is back to its YTD order with Hyundai in charge at 12.9% share followed by Toyota at 12.2% and Kia at a strong 11.9%, almost one percentage point above its YTD level. Skoda (7.2%) and Mitsubishi (7%) are clearly above their traditional Israeli market share whereas Mazda (5.8%) and Suzuki (5.3%) are below. Seat jumps to 8th overall with 4.5% share, mainly due to the exceptional strength of the Ibiza up 12 spots on October to land on the podium at #3 with 3.6% of the market vs. #20 and 1.5% year-to-date.
The Toyota Corolla keeps the lead of the models ranking for the 15th time in the past 16 months, but just: only 3 lonely sales separate it from the #2 the Kia Picanto… Below the Hyundai i10 up two spots to #4, the Mitsubishi Attrage improves again on an already spectacular score in October: up a further 4 ranks to brilliantly break into the Top 5 with 640 sales and 3.3% share, making Israel the Attrage’s best performing country in the world so far! Finally, notice the Toyota Auris strong again at #13 vs. #26 year-to-date, most of its sales being the hybrid variant, the Renault Clio up to #20 vs. #35 YTD, the VW Jetta up 16 spots to #24 vs. #42 and the Skoda Citigo up 56 to #25 vs. #63.
