Ireland November 2014: Nissan Pulsar inside Top 10

Irish new car sales are in full winter mode with just 782 registrations in November as is traditionally the case in this market – most customers await the new year so their car as a 2015 license plate. November is up 11% year-on-year and brings the year-to-date total to 95,989 units, up 30% on 2013. Last month French-Romanian low-cost manufacturer astoundingly ranked #2 overall, also placing the Sandero atop the models ranking. In November Dacia still ranks at a very impressive 4th place with 6.9% share in a brands ranking dominated by Volkswagen (16.9%), Opel (14.6%) and Ford (9.5%) with the Dacia Duster at a beautiful #5 and the Sandero at #8. The Golf tops the models charts with an exceptional 11.6% market share, followed by the Opel Corsa (7%) and Ford Focus (5.5%) while the Opel Astra (#4), Mini (#15) and Hyundai Santa Fe (#19) also shine. The Nissan Pulsar scores the first Top 10 ranking of its reborn career at #9 with 2.3% share.
