France LCV April 2014: Fiat Ducato strikes again

New Light Commercial Vehicle sales in France are up 2% year-on-year in April to 33,454 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 124,472 units, down 0.6% on 2013. Spring suits the Fiat Ducato in France: like it did in March and May 2013 (at the time the very first two months when a non-French LCV dominated the ranking ever), the Italian workhorse is the most popular Commercial Vehicle in neighbouring France in April thanks to 2,964 sales and a fantastic 8.9% market share, kicking it up to #3 year-to-date at the same time. This just as the 2014 version of the model just got unveiled. The Renault Kangoo is down to #2 (8.1%) while the Renault Master is up two spots on March to #3 and 6.8% share. Notice also the Mercedes Sprinter back inside the Top 10 and the new generation Peugeot 308 up 13 ranks to #27.
