New car sales in Ukraine are down a harsh 17% year-on-year in November to 16,282 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 190,542 units, now down 1% on 2012. The locally-produced ZAZ Sens remains in the pole position it holds year-to-date thanks to 581 sales and 3.6% but the best performer this month is the Renault Logan, decidedly in shape in November after leading the overall ranking last year, with the new generation pushing the model up to #2 with 558 units and 3.4%. Another outstanding performer is the Geely Emgrand 7, back up 4 spots on October to #3 with 524 sales and 3.2% after ranking #2 in September. The Emgrand 7 now ranks #10 year-to-date, making it two Geely in the 2013 Top 10 along with the CK in third place.

The Toyota Prius is up to #5 with 383 sales and 2.4%, however this corresponds to 87% of its year-to-date sales and in the absence of a new model and any history of hybrid ‘taste’ in the Ukrainian car market I suspect this is the typo from the manufacturer. I will confirm this next month. The Kia Sportage for its part is back up to #6 with 2.2% share vs. #13 and 1.5% year-to-date, the Toyota Corolla remains inside the Top 10 at #10, the Geely MK-2/Cross is up a further  two spots to #14 vs. #24 so far in 2013, the Peugeot Boxer is up 36 to #16 vs. #124, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado up 42 to #20 vs. #48 and the Renault Dokker up a further 6 to #28 vs. #101.
