New car sales in Croatia are up a dynamic 10% year-on-year in October to 2,194 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 24,158 units, still down a sad 15% on 2012. The Top 2 most popular models in the country remain the VW Golf with 103 sales and 4.7% and Polo at 102 units and 4.6%, reprising their year-to-date rankings. This month the Skoda Octavia jumps onto the podium thanks to 67 sales and 3.1% while the Renault Clio is up 3 ranks on September to #4 with 63 sales and 2.9%.
Notice also the VW Passat up 14 spots to #5, Opel Astra back up 9 to #6, the Renault Captur brilliantly breaking into Croatian Top 20 and Top 10 for the very first time at #7 with 54 sales and 2.5% share, the Toyota Yaris and Citroen C3 up from outside the Top 20 in September to #10 and #11 respectively, the BMW 3 Series up to #15 and the Hyundai i20 up to #16.
