Some good news coming from Romania: in August the new car market is up 25% year-on-year to 6,319 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 36,582 units, down 18% on 2012. Boosted by the new generation now well installed, the Dacia Logan shoots up to a mammoth 29.2% market share thanks to 1,846 sales. This is the model’s strongest market share in the country in almost 3 years, since November 2010 when it reached 29.5%! This is the type of market share level the Logan was hitting on a full year basis back in 2007 (30.1%) with its best-ever market share year being 2005 at 41%. As a reminder the Logan hit 33% share for its very first month in market in Romania in September 2004 and reached a best-ever 44% share in May 2006…
