Sales of new Light Commercial Vehicles are down a harsh 25% year-on-year in August in the Netherlands to just 3,412 registrations. The year-to-date total looks a little better at 35,871 units, down 16% on 2012. This month the VW Caddy takes off at 13.3% share thanks to 453 sales, ahead of the VW Transporter at 8.4% and Peugeot Partner at 5.9%. The Ford Transit Custom is up 3 spots on July to equal its best-ever ranking in the country at #4 with 196 units and 5.7% share, while the Dacia Dokker continues to progress, up a further 4 ranks to #24.
