What is striking in this ranking is the impact of South America in general and Brazil in particular in Fiat worldwide sales: the Fiat Palio/Siena is the best-selling Italian model worldwide ahead of the Fiat Uno and Fiat 500 while the Fiat Punto is #4 and the Fiat Panda, #1 in Italy for the first time last year, is only #5.
