The Ford F-Series is faithful to its American pole position this month, even growing by 24% year-on-year at 47,740 sales. It is up 9% year-to-date at 516,639 units. At #2, the Chevrolet Silverado does even better, gaining 34% on November 2010 to 34,251 sales, and up 12% year-to-date at 367,343 units.

It is however still down 7% year-to-date at 275,004 units. The Ford Escape shines in 4th place and 21,823 sales (+46%), followed by the Nissan Altima (+12%), reinforcing its 2011 #2 best-selling car spot at 243,005 units, the Dodge RAM (+8%) and Ford Fusion (+13%).

Toyota Prius V

After a couple of weak months, the Honda Civic enjoys the benefits of the arrival of its new generation and reclaims its spot in the US Top 10 at #8. Thanks to the Prius V, the newly launched MPV version, the Toyota Prius sees its ranking halved compared to October: it is up 12 spots to #12 and 49% year-on-year to 15,208 sales.
