Spain March 2011: Seat Ibiza leads, Leon #5

The Spanish car market is still not feeling too good, down 29% in March at 88,396 units. The year-to-date figure stands at 208,151 registrations, down 27% on 2010.

The Seat Ibiza leads the way for the third month in a row, albeit with a slightly lower 3.6% share. The 3 following models stand within 52 sales: the Renault Megane, up 4 spots at 2,762 units, Ford Fiesta, up 7 spots at 2,725 and the Nissan Qashqai, stable at 2,710.

Excellent month for the Seat Leon in 5th position with 2,645 sales and a 3% share. Other great performers include the Audi A3 at #13, the Seat Exeo at #21, the new gen Nissan Micra at #30, and the Peugeot 508, up 33 spots at #40 with 647 sales and 0.7% share.
