New car sales in Samoa are up 4.6% year-on-year in 2017 to 389 units and are once again dominated by Toyota but the Japanese carmaker drop 2% to 38.6% share vs. 41.1% a year ago whereas Ford (+4%) and most strikingly Hyundai (+28%) both gain volume on 2016. These three manufacturers account for 98.2% of the Samoan market, with Chevrolet and Mitsubishi sharing the rest. The Ford Ranger should be the best-seller in Samoa in 2017, followed by the Toyota Hilux and Hiace.
