Romania June 2014: Logan up to 27% share in market up 75%

Euphoric times for new car sales in Romania, now up 75% year-on-year in June to 6,947 registrations, which brings the year-to-date total to 31,225 units, up 27% on 2013. The Dacia Logan shoots up to its strongest market share since last August at 27% thanks to 1,876 sales, while the Ford Fiesta is up 3 spots on May to a splendid 2nd place at 369 units and 5.3%, kicking the Dacia Duster (#3), Sandero (#4) and Skoda Octavia (#5) all down one rank compared to last month. The Skoda Rapid for its part maintains itself in 6th position with 2.8% share while the VW Passat reappears inside the Top 10 at #10, up 6 spots on May. Notice also the Nissan Qashqai up 7 to #11, the Peugeot 308 up 33 to #28, Peugeot 2008 up 23 to #35 and Jeep Grand Cherokee up 46 to #41.
