The horrendous year-on-year drops of 2011 and 2012 may have stopped, but the Portuguese new car market is still down 6% in May to 10,061 registrations, which means the year-to-date total after 5 months is back into negative at -0.8% and 42,237 units. Volkswagen is hiding just around the corner at 1,038 sales and 10.3% in May and 4,265 and 10.1% year-to-date.
