Traditionally disrupted by Lunar New Year celebrations, in 2013 February new car sales in Malaysia fare worse than normal, down 18% year-on-year to 44,977 registrations. However over the first two months of 2013 the market is still up a very healthy 18% over the the same period in 2012. The February total was composed of 40,406 passenger vehicles and 4,571 commercial vehicles including pick-up trucks.
