Slovenia November 2012: Opel Mokka & Peugeot 301 deliver world-best performances

New car sales in Slovenia are down 12% year-on-year in November to 3,714 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 46,159 units, down 16% on 2011. The Renault Clio is in pole position for the 4th month in a row and the 9th time so far in 2012 thanks to 261 sales and 7%, its highest share in the country since last May. The Renault Megane is back up 4 spots on October to its traditional 2nd spot at 187 units and 5%, followed by the VW Golf up 3 to #3 and the Skoda Octavia back up 16 to #4. The Renault Scenic continues its on-off performance in Slovenia this year, back up to #5 this month with an excellent 112 sales and 3%.

Further down, notice the Kia Sportage brilliantly holding itself within the Top 10 at #8, the Chevrolet Cruze up 15 to #16, the Citroen DS3 up 37 to #17, the Dacia Duster up 11 to #17 and the Peugeot 508 up 13 to #24. But the interesting feature in this month’s Slovenian new car market is the great performance of a few recent launches: the Ford B-Max is up 21 ranks to #30 with 1% market share, the Opel Mokka is up 28 to #46 at 0.8% and the Peugeot 301 lands directly at #50 with 25 sales and 0.7%…

There is now also a Top 30 All-brands ranking available for Slovenia, with Renault leading the way at 667 sales and 18.1% ahead of Volkswagen with 504 sales and 13.6% and Peugeot up 55% year-on-year to 320 units and 8.6%. Notice also Skoda up 15% to #5, Kia up 8% to #6, BMW up 33% to #14, Dacia up 71% to #15 and Toyota up 4% to #16
