In September and for the first time in 2012, the Hyundai Accent is back in pole position of the Algerian models ranking with 3,356 sales. The last time the Accent topped the ranking in Algeria was in December 2011 when it reached a record 15.7% market share. Thanks to its September score the Accent is now #2 year-to-date like in 2011 at 19,827 units. The Dacia Logan stays very solid in 2nd place with 2,636 sales (it is #3 ytd vs. #5 in 2011) and is followed by the Toyota Hilux at 2,317 units.
Only #10 over the Full Year 2011, the Renault Clio Campus is up to #4 this month with 2,134 sales and #7 year-to-date at an estimated 8,053 units. Absent from the Top 5 over the last couple of months, the Hyundai Atos is back up to #5 in September thanks to 1,946 sales. Runaway leader year-to-date at 25,400 units thanks to huge scores in July (4,620 sales!) and August (3,030), the Peugeot 207 comes out of the monthly Top 5 this month, now that the Peugeot 208 has been unveiled in the country.
