The Israeli new car market is down 16% year-on-year in June to 18,265 registrations. Unfortunately I am not able to give you as much models ranking detail as for the previous months but there is still quite a lot of info available. Brand-wise, Hyundai is far above the rest of the pack with 3,118 sales and 17.3% share, ahead of Toyota at 1,750 units and 9.6% and Mazda, back from the dead (it was #7 in April) up to third place with 1,617 sales and 8.9%.

Ford comes 4th, up 117% year-on-year to 1,556 units and 8.5% and places the Focus in pole position of the models ranking again with 1,216 sales and an impressive 6.7% share. Hyundai’s domination is translated by the presence of 3 models in the Israeli June 2012 Top 4! The Hyundai i25 (aka Accent) ranks #2 followed by the i35 (aka Elantra) and the i30… The Toyota Corolla takes the 5th place.
