October sales data were not communicated, but we are back to our monthly updates for Vitenam this month. November is a very shy month for car sales in the country, down 22% year-on-year to 8,773 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 98,709 units, down just 1%. The Kia Morning confirms its newfound Vietnamese domination and leads the way again this month with 517 sales and 5.9%, reinforcing its 2011 leadership at 6,047 units and 6.1% and on its way to become the first non-Toyota to lead the annual Vietnamese ranking in 8 years.

Just below, Toyota places 4 models in the Top 5 like in September. Helped by its recent facelift, the Toyota Fortuner holds itself in 2nd place with 477 sales and 5.4%, followed by the Corolla Altis at 4.9%, the Vios at 4.1% and the Innova, weak again at #5 and 3.4% share. It was passed by the Corolla year-to-date and is now #3 at 5.5%. Good month for the Chevrolet Lacetti at #6, the Ford Fiesta at #8, the Honda CR-V at #12 and the Chevrolet Aveo at #15.
