Austria September 2011: Kia Ceed & VW Tiguan in great shape

The Austrian car market continues on its good run: up 9% both in September at 30,755 registrations and year-to-date at 273,539 units. The VW Golf reaches 5.7% share this month thanks to 1,751 sales, its best market share so far in 2011 and way ahead of its year-to-date level (4.6%). It is followed by the VW Polo at 3% and the Seat Ibiza at 2.2%. Exceptional month for the Kia Cee’d up to 4th place, by far its best ever ranking in the country, at 618 units and 2%.

VW Tiguan

The VW Tiguan also excels, up one spot on August to a shiny 5th position with 609 sales, its highest ranking in Austria since December 09. Notice also the Renault Scenic up 25 spots on August to #6, the Opel Zafira up 28 spots to #28 and the Citroen DS4 entering the Austrian Top 100 for the first time at #94.
