Taiwan September 2011: Toyota loved anew

Car sales in Taiwan are back to normal this month at 32,600 registrations, the third best month of the year so far. Toyota is back to overwhelming domination with 4 models in the Top 4 and 6 in the Top 8. The Corolla leads the way again at an outstanding 11% share thanks to 3,587 sales, followed by the Yaris (4.8%), Wish and Vios (both at 4.4%).
The Nissan Livina drops 3 spots to #5 at a still very strong 4.2% market share, ahead of the Nissan Tiida at 4%. The Toyota Camry is #7 and 3.7% and the RAV4 is #8 at 2.9%. Note all 6 Toyotas above deliver market shares above their 2011 level… The VW Golf reaches its best position this year so far in Taiwan at #13.
