Vietnam June 2011: Chevrolet Cruze on top

New car sales in Vietnam are down 25% in June at 7,611 registrations, but still up 4% year-to-date at 52,588 units. For the second time in 3 months, the Daewoo Lacetti/Chevrolet Cruze holds the pole position with 535 sales and an excellent 7% market share.

The Kia Morning is one percentage point ahead of its May level at 6.8% share thanks to 518 sales, but down to #2, followed by the Toyota Innova (5.6%), Corolla Altis (5.2%), Vios (4.8%) and Fortuner (4.3%), all significantly above their May levels.

Notice the Mercedes C Class breaking into the Top 10 at #10 with 142 sales and 1.9% and the newly launched Ford Fiesta progress to #13 at 98 units and 1.3% share.
