Taiwan June 2011: Toyota Corolla back on track

Toyota Corolla

This month the models ranking is almost back to normal in Taiwan after a couple of months of disruption due to the Japanese earthquake. Toyota is back in shape and the Corolla returns to its traditional #1 position with 2,568 sales and 7.9% share. The Nissan Tiida is still very strong, up to 5.8% share but down to #2, ahead of the Nissan Livina at a record 4.9% share.

Below the Toyota Yaris and Wish, the Mitsubishi Colt Plus drops 4 spots to #6 but still manages a robust 4% share, well ahead of its 2011 level. Other good performers this month include the Mercedes C Class, up 8 spots to #18 and the Mazda2 breaking into the Top 20 to #19.
