Slovenia June 2011: Renault Clio leads, Fiat Punto Evo up

The Slovenian car market is up 2% both in June at 5,769 registrations and year-to-date at 32,942 units. The Top 4 best-selling models this month is identical to the 2011 ranking, with the Renault Clio in the lead at 6.1% share, followed by the Renault Megane (5.2%), VW Polo (4.2%) and VW Golf (3.3%).

Fiat Punto Evo

At #7, the Fiat Punto Evo renews with levels it was familiar with last year with 165 sales and 2.9%, while the Ford Focus is up 16 spots on May at #9 thanks to the new generation kicking in. Other good performers include the Citroen C3 Picasso up 13 spots to #31 and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta up 26 spots to #43.

    For performance lovers, Punto Evo is the only good car available in the market.

    It seems lke the Slovenian-made Twingo doesn’t sell at all in its native country!
