Turkey April 2011: Fiat Linea misses #1 spot for 95 sales!

Turkish car sales continue to deliver outrageous growth numbers month after month: +47% in April at 53,835 units and up 70% year-to-date at 176,730.
The Renault Symbol is the best-selling car in Turkey again with 3,571 sales and 6.4% share, but it nearly got kicked out by the Fiat Linea, coming out of nowhere (or #6) to jump to 2nd place with 3,377 sales and 6.3%. It is now #3 year-to-date with 7,701 units and 4.4%.
Hyundai i20
The Renault Fluence rounds up the podium with 2,587 units and 4.8% and stays #2 in 2011 at 8,423 sales and 4.8%, while the Toyota Corolla and Ford Fiesta follow. The VW Polo shines at #6, up 5 spots on March, the Hyundai i20 breaks into the Top 10 at #10 and 2.4% and the Peugeot 508 makes its first appearance in the ranking at #25 with 604 sales and 1.1%.
