The Austrian car market is up 5% in April at 33,317 registrations and up 13% over the first 4 months of the year at 121,182 units. The Top 2 is not a surprise: the VW Golf leads for the 14th consecutive month in the country at 1,469 sales and 4.4% and the VW Polo is #2 at 1,110 units and 3.3%.

The Seat Ibiza is on the podium for the first time since July 2010 with 826 sales and 2.5%, ahead of the Opel Astra at 784 units and the Hyundai i30, up 4 spots with 736 sales. The Opel Meriva is stable at #6 this month but also in year-to-date 2011.
