Sorry,
the jeeps are included into personal cars program. It says so in the article.
Cheers,

Hi Matt,
this is an article about the police fleet additions in the first three months of 2011:
http://www.automotorisport.hr/clanak/trziste-automobila-policiji-u-tri-mjeseca-cak-757-novih-vozila
It says that the police bought 757 new cars. Most of them are Skoda Octavia, but there are also Toyota Land Cruiser jeeps.
The number of Skoda Octavia cars might be 697, but the article doesn’t say so explicitly. It just mentions personal cars program as opposed to economic program (jeeps or trucks or vans) and motorbikes.
Cheers,
Petar

The link says the three new taxi companies in Zagreb have already bought 150 Skoda Octavia cars. It was written in February 2011.
The three taxi companies might be the mother company and its branches. I am not familiar with the other two companies, but from the context they should be branches or children companies.
Cheers,
Petar
“After 4 months of odd, Police-fleet induced Skoda Octavia domination, the ranking is back to its more traditional self this month”
I came to an idea what an additional factor to Skoda Octavia domination might be.
On April 22nd in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, an entirely new taxi company started to operate. All of their cars are Skoda Octavia. Now, the article below says that they started to operate with 76 vehicles (Skoda Octavia).

My subjective impression is that there are more of these cars operated by the new taxi company, but anyway it is still a factor regardless of the final number.
Cheers,
Petar
Hi Petar this is great information! I will make sure to include it in the posts.
Thank you very much!
