Portugal 2004: Edgy Renault Megane hits the mark

Boosted by the arrival of the controversial new generation that clearly convinced Portuguese consumers, the Renault Megane takes the lead of the models ranking with 14,575 sales, up 44% on 2003. The Peugeot 206 climbs back into 2nd place at 9,715 units, down 7%, while the Opel Corsa is up 2 ranks to #3 and 9,692 sales (-1%).
Follow the Peugeot 307 (-10%), last year’s leader the Renault Clio, down a worrying 26%, the VW Polo stable at #6 and the Opel Astra up a massive 61% on last year thanks to the new gen. The Seat Ibiza breaks into the annual Top 10.
