The Toyota Corolla still reigns supreme in South Africa, #1 in 1988. It is followed by the VW Golf/Jetta and the Toyota Cressida, back on the podium like in the early 1980′s. The Honda Ballade holds itself in 4th place ahead of the Mercedes 200/300 and the Ford Laser/Meteor.
