UK nations July 2026: First Top 10 finish for the Kia EV3 (in Northern Ireland)

Now that we covered the UK market for July, it’s time to go into the detail of UK nations. This month England is up 10.7% to 133,919 units, Northern Ireland up 16.5% to 3,723, Scotland up 16.2% to 12,848 and Wales up 21.5% to 5,571. Year-to-date, England fares best at +10% to 1,116,246, followed by Wales up 9.2% to 41,543, Scotland at +6.7% to 105,444 and Northern Ireland up 3.3% to 29,308.

Podium finishers are as follows: the Ford Puma is #1 in England and #3 in Wales, the Kia Sportage #1 in Northern Ireland and #2 in England, the MG HS #1 in Scotland and #2 in Wales, the MG ZS #1 in Wales, the Nissan Qashqai #2 in Northern Ireland and #3 in England, the Chery Tiggo 8 #2 in Scotland for its 2nd ever Top 10 finish, the Jaecoo 5 #3 in Scotland and #7 in England and the Hyundai Tucson #3 in Northern Ireland.

The Chery Tiggo 8 is up to #2 in Scotland.

Other great performers include the MG 3 #5 in Wales, Vauxhall Corsa #5 in England, Kia EV3 #8 in Northern Ireland, Kia Picanto #8 in Wales, Vauxhall Frontera #10 in Northern Ireland, Peugeot 2008 #10 in Scotland and Toyota Aygo X #10 in Wales. Notice the entire Top 10 ranking in Northern Ireland is composed of SUVs.
