Peru H1 2026: Jetour (+144.7%), Chery (+111.9%) and Geely (+110.6%) surge in record market
Jetour sales are up 144.7% year-on-year over the First Half of 2026.
After a 2025 record year, the Peruvian new vehicle market improves further in 2026 with sales shooting up 40.6% to 140,721. Leader Toyota (+25.1%) trails the market and drops two percentage points to 16.1% share. This is still almost double the #2 Kia (+42%) at 8.4% and Hyundai (+37.7%) at 8.3%. Changan (+58.1%) stays at #4 while Jetour (+144.7%) surges to #5 vs. #9 over the Full Year 2025. The Chinese are in great shape, with Chery (+111.9%) at #10, Geely (+110.6%) at #8 and JAC (+54.8%) at #6. Notice also Ford (+59.4%) at #9.
