Jordan H1 2026: Changan returns at #3, Toyota Hilux distant leader

The Changan Deepal G318 is inside the Jordanian Top 30 over H1.

15,529 new light vehicles found a buyer in Jordan over H1 2026, a steep -11.7% year-on-year drop. Toyota (-16.2%) and Kia (-18%) keep the lead of the brands charts with 32.7% and 18.5% share respectively. In third place Changan returns to the ranking with 9.1% share, distancing Isuzu (-42.9%) and MG (-43.3%) both in freefall. Hyundai (-57.5%) and Lexus (-49.5%) fare even worse below. BYD lands directly in 8th position with 3.3% share while Land Rover (+41.4%) and Geely (+80.4%) close the Top 10 in euphoric fashion. Further down, Haval (+304.2%) and Ford (+51.2%) stand out.

Over in the models charts, the Toyota Hilux (+66.7%) surges to first place with 9.5% share, almost double the 5% it held over H1 2025. The Kia Frontier (+233.9%) does even better at #2, knocking down the Toyota Land Cruiser SW (-44.2%) and Isuzu N-Series (-29.9%). The Changan Eado returns to the charts at #5 with 5.2% of the market, joined by the Eado Plus at #10. #1 a year ago, the Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup (-63.2%) craters to #6. The Geely EX2 is the next best-selling recent launch at #17 followed by the BYD Dolphin Surf (#19), BYD Seal U (#21) and Changan Deepal G318 (#27).
