Syria H1 2026: Market from 340 to 6,151 sales, Kia best-seller, Changan CS55 Pro at #3

The Changan CS55 Pro ranks #3 in Syria over H1.

The Syrian market is now definitely heading in the right direction, going from just 340 units over H1 2025 to 6,151 now. This is also to be compared with the 2,106 units of the Full Year 2025. Compared to last year, 6 brands have reentered the market to sell alongside Hyundai. Kia takes the lead with 39.6% share ahead of former standalone carmaker Hyundai (+445.9%) at 30.2%. MG stuns at 14% share followed by Changan at 10.6%, meaning the Top 4 brands hold almost 94% of the market. Haval, Exeed, Jetour, Great Wall, Tank and Mazda also appear.

Model-wise, the Hyundai H100 (+284.5%) keeps the lead at 20.9% share above its twin the Kia Frontier at 19.4%. The Changan CS55 Pro storms into third place with 7.3% of the market ahead of the Hyundai H1-Starex and MG 5.
