Panama March 2026: Market surges 42.5%, Jetour, Changan, Isuzu shine

Changan sales are up 85% year-on-year in March.

March volumes in Panama shoot up 42.5% year-on-year to 6,473, leading the Q1 2026 tally up 17.6% to 16,405. Toyota (+29.2%) leads the way in the brands ranking above Hyundai (+39.1%) and Kia (+32.3%). Suzuki (+18.4%) is slower but advances to #4 ahead of Jetour (+109.2%). Geely (-5.8%) drops to #6 while Changan (+85%), Isuzu (+79.5%) and Mitsubishi (+72.6%) all post fantastic gains.

Model-wise, the Top 5 is unchanged on February. The Hyundai Grand i10 (+56.6%) repeats at #1 ahead of the Kia Soluto (+75.6%), Toyota Hilux (+7.3%), Yaris Cross (+21.6%) and Hyundai Creta (+82.1%). The Isuzu D-Max climbs to #6, equal with the Toyota Prado (+58%).
