Poland Full Year 2025: Skoda Octavia (+11.7%) catches up on Toyota Corolla (-18.8%)

It’s another outstanding year for Polish new car sales at +8.3% to 597,428 units. Toyota (-11.3%) remains by far the most popular carmaker in the country but sees its share sink from 18.8% to 15.4%. Skoda (+8.9%) roughly matches the market at #2 with 11% share while Volkswagen (+11.8%) is strong at #3. BMW (+15.4%) lodges the biggest YoY gain in the Top 12 and jumps four spots to #4. Kia (-7.8%) on the other hand struggles to #5, with Audi (+5%) and Mercedes (+5.2%) camping on their 2024 positions at #6 and #7 respectively. Dacia (+12.1%) shines at #9. Below, notice MG (+125.2%), Citroen (+38.3%), Omoda (+582.8%), Jaecoo (+1369.3%) and BYD (+1567.4%).
Model-wise, the Toyota Corolla (-18.8%) dives but still manages a 5th straight annual win at 3.9% share. The Skoda Octavia (+11.7%), last #1 in 2020, is catching up and reducing the gap with the Corolla from almost 10,000 sales in 2024 to 2,350 now. The Toyota C-HR (-0.3%) is stable and climbs onto the podium at #3, distancing the Kia Sportage (-1.2%) up two spots to #4 and the Toyota Yaris Cross (-12.9%) down two to #5. The VW T-Roc (+12%) is up to #8 but the best performer in the Top 10 is the MG HS (+98.7%) doubling its sales and up 20 ranks on last year to #10. The Skoda Kodiaq (+25.6%) and Fabia (+12.2%) also impress. Note the Jaecoo 7 was up to #3 in December.
