Morocco Full Year 2025: Record market, Dacia Logan back to #1, Renault Kardian up to #6

It’s an exceptional year for new light vehicle sales in Morocco. Total volumes shoot up 33.4% to 235,372 units, a new all time high and smashing the previous best of 177,359 hit in 2018. This is split between 208,848 passenger cars (+32.9%) and 26,524 light commercials (+37.7%). In the passenger cars brand ranking, Dacia (+21.8%) can’t keep up with the market growth and sees its share thaw from 25% to a still dominant 22.9%. Renault (+54.3%) on the other hand improves from 15.1% to 17.5%. Hyundai (+30.1%) holds onto the third spot above Peugeot (+46.7%), Volkswagen (+36.1%) and Opel (+7.8%). Skoda (+39.9%) breaks into the Top 10 at #8. In the LCV brands charts, Fiat (+133.7%) leapfrogs past Renault (-3.4%) and Ford (+7%) to grab the top spot with DFSK (+41.2%) up to #3.

Looking at the PC models ranking, the Dacia Logan (+22.1%) reclaims the top spot off the Dacia Sandero (+11%) for its first win since 2022. The Renault Clio (+46%) overtakes the Renault Express (+5.9%) to climb onto the third step of the podium. The Peugeot 208 (+60.7%) also delivers an excellent result and is up one spot to #5. The success story of the year is the Renault Kardian (+1939.8%) ending its first full year of sales at a splendid 6th place with 4.4% share. The VW Tiguan (+74.1%) and Opel Corsa (+41%) also beat the market in the remainder of the Top 10.
