England (UK) Full Year 2025: Ford Puma and Kia Sportage lead, sales up 4.2%

According to data by SMMT, the English new car market advances a solid +4.2% in 2025 to 1,735,756 sales. The Ford Puma (+19.8%) lodges a fantastic result to threepeat at #1 with 2.8% share. The Kia Sportage (+3.2%) is a lot weaker but still in positive, staying at #2 ahead of the Nissan Qashqai (-5.1%). The Nissan Juke (-1.5%) and VW Golf (+0.8%) both edge up one spot on last year to round out the Top 5. The VW Tiguan (#6), Vauxhall Corsa (#8) and Mini Cooper (#10) enter the Top 10 whereas the Tesla Model Y (-27.5%) disappears from it whereas it ranked #4 in 2024.
